Eloise, also known as Ellie, is ready for her forever home. She is 5 1/2 months old and weighs a little under 30 lbs. Ellie is a fun loving pup who loves every human she meets. Rolling in the grass, hopping like a bunny and getting the zooms are her favorite things. Ellie is crate trained and house trained. She loves her toys and has no problems with you taking them or her food. Her leash manners are improving, she is wild sometimes. Kids 12 and older would be best due to how wild she can be and typical nippy behavior. Ellie does come with one restriction, she has to be an only dog. There are no exceptions to this. Currently, Ellie is able to be walked near them or pass them but she cannot live with them or play with them. Ellie will not take corrections from other dogs and it turns out not so fun. This is not something she is going to grow out of, so it is safe to say, she needs to be an only dog…always and forever. If you remember, we took her in as a 17 week old after the owner who bred her realized she was in over head and just wanted Ellie to have the best life she could. We know the temperament of Ellie’s mom, which was not considered when she was bred. This is why we are serious about her being the only dog in the home. We had hopes that since we got her so young, we could socialize her properly and not run into issues with her and other dogs but clearly genetics are at work here. We also know though that her mom is a very loving bull terrier with humans, just as Ellie has exhibited. She will make a wonderful addition to someone’s family.

You can see more pictures and video of Ellie on her page, Say Cheese Eloise.
