The Blue Ridge Bull Terrier Club, Inc. (BRBTC) is an all-volunteer non-profit 501c3 organization that is dedicated to placing unwanted, abused, or abandoned Bull Terriers into permanent new homes. BRBTC is a foster based rescue that works with animal shelters, rescue professionals, Bull Terrier owners, and veterinarians to save dogs from undesirable or dangerous conditions. BRBTC is located in Virginia, but provides help throughout the eastern region as needed; our typical coverage area is outlined below. We will also pull and place Bull Terriers in southeastern Canada. All BRBTC rescue dogs receive routine veterinary care, including spay/neuter, before adoption. No matter the age or health, BRBTC will take in and care for each Bull Terrier until they can be evaluated and placed into the correct permanent, loving home. BRBTC will not euthanize a dog because they need extensive medical treatment or surgery for conditions from which they can recover. The only situations for which euthanasia is used is if a Bull Terrier displays threatening behavior towards humans or if a dog is so ill it cannot recover. Please consider volunteering – Save a life, enrich yours. Adopt or foster a Bull Terrier today!
