UPDATE (10/24/23): Elway will be going to his foster-to-adopt home on Tuesday, October 31st. Further updates to follow.

Meet Elway

While we were away this past week at Silverwood, the national Bull Terrier show, we were still hard at work. We had found out about a 10 month male old bull terrier whose owner didn’t want him anymore. The owner gave him to someone else who seemed like they would hold him for a bit, however, the next day he was surrendered to the shelter. Just like most other shelters these days, the shelter was at capacity and wanted him to leave as soon as possible. Thankfully, Kasi Goodman, who is always a huge help to the rescue, offered to pull him to get him out of there. She can only hold him until October 30th though so we need to get working quickly on finding him a home. While at the shelter and since being at Kasi’s house, Elway has been a very sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys hugging humans and loving on them as much as he can. He played with dogs at the shelter and has taken some walks with a few of Kasi’s dogs. He is picking up crate training very quickly and appears to already be potty trained. He is a very manageable size, weighing about 36 pounds. He appears to be very social. The shelter stated that he would not be okay with cats so no cats or smaller animals. We do not know his history to know how he is with children so kids 12 and older. If you live within 6 hours of Williamsburg, OH and feel you can provide the home Elway deserves, please either message our main inbox or Lisa Taubman Blount.
