Meet Bullseye
We don’t know very much about Bullseye yet. He was found abandoned last Friday, tied to a trash can with a very heavy chain in Allentown, PA. We are unsure if his feet got burnt that day because he was at a basketball court on hot pavement in extremely hot weather or if he has something else going on with his paws but they will need some medical attention based on what I was told. For now, he has tolerated walking around in little sneakers. If that tells you anything about his temperament and you know bull terriers at all, to us, it indicates that he is pretty laid back and just goes with the flow because lots of bullies turn into a statue or walk very oddly if shoes are put on them. He has been very sweet with all of the humans he has interacted with and has been non reactive to the dogs he has passed by. He seems to be a mellow, chill boy. He is currently estimated to be about 8 years old and weighs 64 lbs. We would be willing to send him to a home with another dog if he was initially kept separate to decompress for a few weeks and then slowly integrated to see if he really is okay with other dogs. You would have to be okay to keep him separate from the other dog if he did end up not being good with the dog until we could find another home. If you are on board with fostering, we need to know it is a minimum of a 30 day commitment so that there is time to get to know him and get him vetted and then work on finding him a permanent home. Kids 12 and older. No cats, no smaller animals. This is all the information we know about him right now. If you live within 6 hours of Allentown, PA and think you can provide the home that Bullseye needs, please either message our main inbox or Lisa Taubman Blount directly.
