UPDATE: There has been a massive amount of interest expressed in Havana. It is not possible for us to contact every single person back. We are narrowing down to a short list of potential homes over the next few days and will be in touch with those on that short list. Thank you all for your interest. Further updates to follow.

Meet Havana

Please read the post in its entirety before asking questions or expressing interest. We will only be able to respond back to those who meet the criteria listed as we are currently overwhelmed with cases. Thank you.

Havana is a 9 month old female bull terrier in need of a new home. It is abundantly clear that her human dad loves her and wants what is best for her. The family recently moved and her owner is at work a lot and traveling often, unable to give Havana all she needs in order to grow up to be the best she can be. She is dog friendly and often plays well with a neighborhood lab type dog. She currently lives with a dog who is somewhat smaller than her, they are allowed to play in short intervals, otherwise she gets a bit too rough with the other dog due to the size discrepancy, thus, we will only place her in a home with a dog her size or bigger. She weighs between 40 an 45 pounds. We will not place her in a home with a dog who is low energy or much older as it would be unfair to that dog due to her young bull terrier energy level. Havana LOVES human attention (what bull terrier doesn’t!). She is crate trained, leash trained and potty trained. She does have a strong prey drive so NO CATS. Since Havana is at a critical time in her life regarding socialization and learning how to interact with a variety of new situations, etc..we will only place her in a home where there has been previous experience raising a bull terrier from a young age and/or with someone who truly understands what dogs need in order to grow up to be good citizens. Children 12 and older. If you live within 6 hours of Bethel Park, PA and can provide the home Havana needs, please either message our main inbox or Lisa Taubman Blount directly
