Meet Isla

Isla was adopted over a year ago from a shelter in Texas. She was great in the home with the large dogs, but just could not adjust and tolerate the farm animals or cats. She found herself looking for a new home with no farm animals or cats. While waiting for her new home, Isla was temporarily housed elsewhere. Unfortunately after a few months, it came to light that there was some neglect going on and Isla was removed from that home this past week. She is currently 10 pounds thinner than when she went there in January. All her lab work looks good so it appears this pretty girl just needs some help to get her back to a healthy weight. She should do okay with older kids and large dogs. She is super sweet and loving and ready for her new family. Isla is approximately 3 years old. She is located in Glenwood, AR. If you think you can provide Isla the home she deserves, please contact either Glenna Wright or Lisa Taubman Blount.

Isla is with Rescue Welfare Trust Fund of The Bull Terrier Club of America. We are sharing in the hopes of helping to find her the right home.

The pictures below are how she was found this past week, severely under weight (the picture on the left) and from when she was at her ideal weight (pictures on the right).
